    1. My first gripe with this novel is the usage of the term 'sunshades' over 'sunglasses'. Short handing to just 'shades' would have been perfectly acceptable, yet every time they are mentioned, it is 'sunshades'. That bothered me from the beginning to the end. There were also quite a few small errors in formatting, occasionally grammar, yet at least there were no spelling mistakes(that I can recall).Regarding the story itself, again having seen the film some few years ago before I picked up the boo [...]

    2. I really enjoyed this novelization. Going in, I expected it to basically be the movie with maybe some deleted scenes. I was surprised to find scenes from the film written differently than what ended up in the film. It was a nice surprise because I wasn't reading something word for word of what I had already watched. I wonder if that was on the author's part or original script material? Either way I enjoyed it.I also really loved reading Blade's inner thoughts. With a character as stoic and silen [...]
