    1. Story Rating 4 StarsCharacter Rating 4 StarsRomance Rating 4 StarsHeat Level 5 sizzle StarsOverall Rating 4.5 StarsWOW and WEEEEE! This was one SIZZLING short read! So, I have to say that it surprises me that I rated this book a 4.5 star rating after having looked at all the other ratings at I was not expected to REALLY like/love this one. I thought what the heck, I'm in the mood for an Erotic Historical Romance and since I saw this book mentioned at Swept Away By Romance during the Sweet, Sexy, [...]

    2. As much as it pains me I have to say I hated this book. I am almost at a loss for how much I disliked this book. I mean, I love ménage, I love historical fiction, I love this author's previous work--by all accounts I should love this book too, right? Wrong! The reason I could not enjoy this "romance" is because (spoiler alert) two of the men involved in the ménage did not love the heroine. What. The. Hell. Are you kidding me??I couldn't even enjoy the "love" scenes because I was so annoyed that [...]

    4. LynnMarie’s Review Juniper Bell has written an erotic historical that kept me glued to the pages. It was an interesting mix, with Alicia’s narration being in first person, allowing us to know her intimately. The three Lords are narrated in third person. Alicia is a good girl, and once married, behaves as she is expected. When her new husband gives another man, the Marquis, permission to play with her in bed, she keeps her mouth shut and allows herself to enjoy this attention. Her husband is [...]

    5. When I started this book, I didn't think I would like it but as the story unfolded, I got into it. It is a quick read and very well done. The characters are strong and well-written. The author writes the heroine in first person as she is telling her story of self-discovery and her feelings for the three lords who are well represented. The author's descriptions are a bit poetic but not over done.

    6. Well, I think I may be in a state of shock. This was a different take on ménage. The author combines two completely different genres menage and historical. I was not sure how the author was going to be able to pull it off because you just do not see the two together. This was actually a fun read but I did not like the whole m/m thing. I like it better when all the attention is on the woman. The scenes were a little two descriptive for me but overall it was a pretty good book.

    7. I liked this story. I thought the Marque was fabulous and I envy Alicia for having three totally fascinating and sexy lovers. This book was entertaining and a light read. Yes, some of the situations were beyond ridiculous like the instantaneous relationship between Alicia and the Duke, but other aspects were great like the friendship between Alicia and Annie. If only life were as malleable as the book portrays it. I'd love to live in that world for a spell.

    8. This is the first historical I've read from Ms. Bell. I like it - it was sexy, had a strong, likable heroine and each of the three (!) heroes was multi-dimensional. The menage was built in an interesting way - one became two became three bed partners for the heroine, each one offering a different aspect of love and sex. I hope there is a sequel - I would love to hear more about the Marquis' back story.

    9. Overall it was good and the sex scenes were hot. The characters were likeable except for the Earl. The interactions between all the characters was a bit unfinished at times. This story left me wondering about the relationship between the characters. It did not have enough continuity for me to rate it higher. I did finish it and liked it.

    10. This is one hot historical book about a woman and the three men who satisfy her every need. I liked the story a lot but would have liked it even better if it was a little longer with more background on the characters.

    11. I dislike writing in first person, nevertheless decided to give this one a try. Found it quite boring, seem to be dragging. Not intriguing enough. Read piece of it, wasn't interesting enough to continue.

    12. What a delightful reading.A historical piece, with a witty girl who finds herself, as so many in her time, married to a man she. Early knows. A man with two unique and very close friends who will be as intricate to Alicia's life as they have been to her husbands.

    13. Man, it ended just when the fun started! That's so not fair! This was a quick, spicy read, but it ended way too soon. I want a follow up! LOL

    14. Different. I don't usually read historical, it takes some time to get used to the language. Also the ménage part did not happen until quite late on in the book.
