Dean Overman’s A Case for the Divinity of Jesus is an excellent source for investigating: 1) some of the earliest claims about Jesus, 2) what those claims tell us about Him, and 3) arguments against some modern claims that certain doctrines developed late or were only one small view in a vast sea of views of who Christ is. While the divinity of Jesus is an underlying theme that unifies the work, it is really more of a compilation of arguments defending the orthodox or historical view of Jesus [...]

    2. This was a very well researched book with many sources to prove his argument. It was also very well written and not difficult to understand. Overman brings up many good arguments for the divinity of Christ. I enjoyed reading this book. He used many different references and also broke down each of his individual arguments into parts.
