    1. Hero: Robbie CallowayHeroine: Anamaria DuquesneLove Scene: Leave It To Your Imagination. Unless, I have missed something. This is the first book by Marilyn Pappano that I have read. I have two of her books, this one and The Truth About Tate. In 2009, I've checked this book out at my library, but didn't have a chance to read it. Last month, I've found a copy amongst my library's book sale. I didn't care for this story. I will briefly tell what this story is about. This story is about a psychic name [...]

    2. Anamaria Duquesne comes from a long line of beautiful and passionate mocha-skinned women with unique, supernatural gifts. Anamaria is blessed with the ability of foresight, which she discovers as a five year old when sees her mother’s death hours before it occurs. Two decades later, Anamaria is forced to dig up old memories and travel to Copper Lake to uncover what happened to her mother that fateful night. Robbie Calloway, a ladies man who prefers fishing and sleeping to working in his law pr [...]

    3. This is my first crack at Silhouette Romantic Suspense and it did not disappoint. Normally I stick to Intrigues and Nocturnes, but the gorgeous cover and characters caught my eye and I had to check this one out.I like to pay attention to first chapters particularly in how the author sets up the conflict and characters for the rest of the story. This one was done beautifully as we got to know the backstory toward hints of the scandal of the title and how it ties in with the hero and heroine. HQN [...]

    4. It was very good and different because the author really examined the hero's thoughts and without being political she (the author) addressed some issue's from the hero's stand point on what he would gain and possibly lose by entering into a serious relationship with the heroine. Unlike some IR's that go to the extremes with the black / white rammifications, I didn't feel preached to and I did not dislike the hero because he wavered and took into consideration the impact the relationshipship woul [...]

    6. Good story. Annamaria returns to Copper Creek to reconnect with the memories of her mother and sister's death. She meets Robbie Galloway who is a non believer of Annamaria special talents. There are some inconsistencies in writing. He spends the first part of the book complaining that she never touched him, yet in their first meeting she shook his hand Then he spends most of the book being embarrassed to be seen with her because of her skin color, yet we are to believe he is madly in love with h [...]

    7. I liked the mystery associated with the story. I enjoyed the ending. I think both characters were a bit jadedd based on their history but it turned out well.
