    1. Meh. I picked up this book not because I thought it would appeal to me (my record with romance comics is very hit or miss) but because I'm interested in reading more manhwa. I haven't read much so far, and I would like to at least try. It doesn't help that many books tagged "manhwa" here on just aren't. This is probably not the best representative of Korean comics. As a story, it seems confused. Does it want to be a younger teen romance, or does it want to be a fantasy? The first chapter is wri [...]

    2. I honestly don't understand why the reviews are so harsh, I personally love the series (I finished it in less than 2 hours!). I'd say the age group is 13-20 just because its a bit kiddish, but they still curse and say other things. The art style is cute and pretty (basically shojo) and the story is interesting. Lee did a good job with the book, and I'm definitely going to continue reading this series.

    3. Eh, this was an ok series. I'm more a fan of manga than manwha, and this was geared towards a younger audience. I think there is a cactus that comes to life that stars in a lot of mishaps or something besides the main story. Meh. I quite the series after a few books in but collected the whole thing, decided to sell Dec 2017.

    4. Fans of Sang-Eun Lee's other work "Love or Money" will rejoice at having another of her works brought to the US. Those who aren't familiar with her will also be pleased as Sang-Eun Lee's work is quite good & is easy to get into even if the reader isn't familiar with Korean manhwa! The story starts as Hee-So both gains & loses the guy of her dreams, the mysterious Won-Jun. The breakup is made even more humiliating because a month before she'd subjected herself to a reality dating show in [...]

    5. 13th Boy is another manhwa series that piqued my interest after seeing it mentioned more than a few times in various blogs that I follow. So, when my library acquired the entire 12 volume series, I was ready to dive in and enjoy some good shoujo reading.Unfortunately, this series did not live up to my expectations. While the first volume, though a little erratic, was engaging and the next subsequent volumes continued to set the scene, even the adorable talking cactus (yes, really, a talking cact [...]
