  • I was a famous rock star I had money coming out my ass and women following me around than I care to admit So when I saw this pretty girl in the bar, I strutted up to her with a cocky smile and totally expected her to fall at my feet before I took her out back and banged her brains out That s not exactly how it played out.

    1. For fans of Stevie J Cole's Pandemic Sorrow Series, this book was a long time coming and I am so glad we got it.Never has a band been as dysfunctional as this one - especially by the two front men - Jag Steele and Rush Wilder, they truly put the Sex & Drugs in rock n roll, (their books are aptly named Jag & Rush and while they should be read in order, this one could actually be read first). Stone Steele bassist, is the more sane one of the bunch, and along with Pax the drummer who also f [...]

    2. I've missed the Pandemic Sorrow crew, add on a spitfire female musician on top of all the debauchery that comes with rockers and what you got is a hysterical romantic rocker comedy. I seriously could not put the books down. It had me in stitches from beginning to end. Even though Stevie is known for her dark, twisty books, don't let that scare you out of reading this book. It is entertaining and one of those books you just want to pick up when you need a good laugh. She manages to suck you into [...]

    3. I love this series so much. This book made me laugh hysterically and then feel bad for Stone and Phoenix. But what I loved the most about it was each individual character in the band. They were all different in their own way. How can you not love Jag, Stone, Rush, and Pax. And I fangirled for Phoenix. She was so confident and headstrong despite her weaknesses. An amazing book!!!

    4. 4.5 starsI love a good sexy rocker book in the morning, afternoon and evening. This is one of them. If you love rockers then get this one. Better yet if you haven't read the Pandemic Sorrow series get it now. Yes this is a standalone but really why not read the whole series. Stevie J. cole did a fantastic job with Stone. Now I kinda thought Stone was a dick in the other books. But he has my heart in this one. Phoenix is what I hoped she be. A perfect pairing for Stone. Both wanting that normal. [...]

    5. Really enjoyed this book so much more than Rush!! It was funny and so much more to both sides of the story!!

    6. All Of This This book had me at the beginning and could not put it down. Have you ever had a book make you laugh hysterically and swoon on the next page for the couple? This one is that book. This entire series is outstanding. Stone is sweet and funny as $#!+ while Phoenix is strong and searching for that one person to truly care. Grab Stone today. You won't regret it.

    7. I absolutely loved the controlled emotions that Stone and Phoenix showed throughout the book. Life is hard enough to handle without having fame attached to you. Yet, Stone wants more. He needs more. Will Phoenix be it for him? Or will her own baggage be took much to cope?Stevie had me at page one. Throughout my reading I cursed, laughed and got a bit nervous with excitement. This is an outstanding book and the writing was executed so well that I honestly think I could do a re-read. And that neve [...]

    8. Love this.Five freaking stars for P.S. Stevie is an author who writes dark, sexy, and wow. Stone Steele is not like his brother, Jag, he has grown tired of fame. Phoenix is product of fame, her groupie mom still has her grip on Phoenix and her career. Stone and Phoenix take it slow, they both feel this could be more than a fling. After finally sealing the deal, the next morning Mom shows up and throws out a deal breaker. A broken heart, a pass on fame, and Phoenix has a new life. Stone has some [...]

    9. This is one of the funniest books I've read in a very long time!Cole has a way of tapping into the twisted middle school mind of a man, but making him one of the hottest things you've ever seen! The antics of the Pandemic Sorrow guys are absolutely hysterical and you just wonder where these ideas come from. Even though I was laughing to the point of peeing my pants I just wanted to be Phoenix for about two secs so Stone could be mine Maybe some day I'll find my Stone and we will live HEA

    10. Absolutely Fabulous! This book was sooooo good! I loved reading Stone and Phoenix’s story. There were tons of laughs all throughout the story, especially when Phoenix was around her best friend Lauren(whom I absolutely loved). I can’t wait to read more about the Pandemic Sorrow guys, especially Rush!

    11. Very good bookThis book was very entertaining! The price of Fame! Lol! I liked Stone and Phoenix ! They were very cute together! I felt sorry for Phoenix growing up with a mother like that!

    12. You RockStevie you grabbed my attention with Wicked Little Words and have blown me away with men of Pandemic Sorrow ! I have laughed, cried and at times been disgusted:) I must could not stop reading till the end ! Thank you !

    13. FabulousI'm a sucker for Rock Star Romances and 'Stone' did not disappoint Stone and Phoenix's story is A great read!!!

    14. Stone & Phoenix’s book can be read as a stand-alone although timeline wise it’s a prequel with some overlap of the 1st book. Rockstar Romance lots of drugs, sex and only a smidge of rock n roll but lots of grit.
