    1. First of I LOVE THIS BOOK. Why? because this book offers a lot of information about amphibians and reptiles hence the title herpatology. Another thing it offers is that it has good illustration of the different amphibians and reptiles. Yes, it has 697 pages but it is an awesome book (in my opinion). I dare you to read it, if your brave enough!

    2. This book is an outstanding introduction to herpetology. It does require some basic biology knowledge, but does a good job of covering all the main topics of herpetology. This one's a keeper as a reference.

    3. Very detailed textbook on Herpetology. A daunting read, but provides a good overview on the different herps. Some evolutionary content, mostly towards the beginning.
