    1. What do you know about Pierre-Esprit Radisson? Well I knew nothing before coming upon this book. His certainly is an interesting Native captivity tale, and I probably wouldn't have heard of him if it weren't for this book. The author obviously took a good deal of care to investigate the facts of the story.     2. I didn't dislike this book, but I'm not sure I quite liked it either. It was laying in my room for about 10 years, maybe longer, and I finally decided to give it a try. It was a very easy, quick read. The author had clearly done her research, and I feel I learned quite a few facts, but I thought her writing was terribly bland.
