    1. A beautiful poignant story of a boy and his grandfather who become "buried" by the heavy snowfalls in the mountains, of their struggles, and of their daily reliance on the Lord to provide for both their spiritual and physical needs, to protect them from danger, and to bring them home once more. So many wonderful little lessons! Once again Lamplighter has done a beautiful job with their audio. I haven't been disappointed with one yet!

    2. "Thy will, oh Lord be done," is the poignantly taught theme in this quaint little 1879 book that has just been added to my list of Christmas Classics.  I love the setting, the language, the lessons, and the old-fashioned integrity that lies within this treasure.  It will be read to my little ones often.  The Lamplighter Series was suggested to me by a good friend as books that are pure, innocent, and chuck full of good messages.  I'm always on the look out for these kinds of morally relevan [...]

    3. It is said that this story is based on true happenings. Wow.Of course, this dramatized audio version of the story will not be 100% accurate because the writers have adapted the story for audio purposes, but still.Of all the Lamplighter Theatre stories, I'd say this one is not my favorite, but it's not my least favorite either. 4. I listened to the dramatized edition by the Lamplighter Theatre. I must say I REALLY enjoyed this one. It's message was that God is our rock and we need to trust Him, because he has a better plan for us, no matter what trials we may face first. Lamplighter Theatre dramatization are awesome, and I would certainly recommend anyone to listen to them. It's like listening to an "Adventures in Odyssey".

    5. I always seem to pick the books with the message we need to hear at that time. Another great audio production by Lamplighter.
