    1. The Girl in my Dreams by Logan Byrne is kind of predictable up to a point. But when he starts seeing her after she dies, then I started guessing if he is really seeing her or is it grief? Once she dies, the emotions get stronger and by the end of the story, it is very emotional. Not my normal stories but I have been trying to stretch myself, lol. The ending was not what I expected.

    2. EmotionalI didn't really know what to think of this book when I started reading it. My first thought was that it would be the same as other books I'd read. Boy and girl grow up together, grow apart, then end up together.happy ever after.I was right til the happy ever after. But even though, it was an emotional read. I am happy I read it

    3. 3 Stars! The Girl in my Dreams has a beautiful cover, a Sweet Title and an interesting blurb but it could have been SO MUCH Better! It wasn't anywhere near as Good or as Emotional as I was expecting I expected to Feel and Cry a Lot more.I Really Liked Theo and Martin and I kept on rooting for Theo's happiness. I think a Double POV would have helped me connect more to Anabelle When she died I didn't really feel it I just felt, mostly, sorry for Theo (who we could see was totally in love with h [...]

    4. This was a sweet love story about two teenagers who had known each other since they were very young. The story is not always exciting, but it shows the steady progress of their relationship. It's insightful into what makes it work for the two of them: for one, a willingness to do what pleases the other person. Many other words of wisdom fill the pages. The second half of the story is more paranormal: perhaps a view of heaven. It gives Theo hope and a chance to overcome his grief. An enjoyable st [...]

    5. I know that I'm going to feel kind of, well, mean writing this review. The Girl in My Dreams reads as if the author is just dipping his toes into the writing world. While I can see other people liking this, it unfortunately drew no tears from me.The premise seemed like it would be cute and heart-wrenching. What I got instead was something resembling a Quotev love story. I don't necessarily have anything against writing sites such as Wattpad and the like-they can be great for young aspiring write [...]

    6. Ok, let's face it, if you read the write-up by the author, you know as soon as you start the story, the girl is going to die. I expected it to happen pretty close to the beginning of the book, and then the rest would be about the dreams. But it's not that way at all.First there is the setup of introverted Theo's character, just your average teenage good guy, doing teenage guy stuff. He's been friends with the girl next door, Belle, since they were little kids. As they grew older they grew apart, [...]

    7. This is a very predictable story, but it is still an interesting one. Theodore Quinn has lived next door to Bell his entire life. In fact, early on, their families speculated the pair would eventually marry. However, as time passed, they grew farther apart. Belle gravitated toward the “in” crowd at school, while Theo never did go that route. They reached a point where they barely said hi to each other in passing and moved in totally different circles. However, one night, after breaking up wi [...]

    8. I read an excerpt of this young adult novel on Kindle Scout and recommended it. When it was chosen for publication, I received a free copy. The first half of the book describes the romance of two high school students (and next-door neibors). I have to say Theodore treats Annabelle the way I wanted my high school boyfriend to treat me, and I fell in love with him a little. Just when their relationship seems to be just too good to be true, Belle is killed in a car accident along with three other st [...]

    9. Not a bad readI received a copy of this book through KDP, and I was thrilled to see it published. The premise seemed very simple, almost cliche, but I took a chance.I had mixed emotions going into this story anew. The first half reflected on the relationship between Annabelle and Theo, and while they had a connection, their relationship fe!t almost cookie-cutter. A popular girl and an awkward boy, it was grounds for a cliché title. Annabelle's personality at times also seemed a bit lackluster a [...]

    10. I got this book free from Kindle Scout. This book really pulled at my heart strings. I really want to start by saying buy the book it's worth it it was excellent written and has become one of my favorites. I think I fell in love with Theo. He was kind hearted, supportive, loving and everything you could want in a mate. Of course I loved Belle too. She seemed beautiful from the inside out. The story of these two living next to each other and being each other's first friend, first love was beautifu [...]

    11. Theo has loved the girl next door since they were tiny. They finally reconnect after a few years of barely speaking to find that nothing has changed. Theo still loves Belle and she falls for him making the sweetest couple in the school. After one bad decision, everything is torn away from Theo and he has to find a way to live with it.This is an incredibly moving story which had me shedding tears. Theo is an average teenager and because of that, the reader can connect and relate to him. It is not [...]

    12. I am in love! Theo is a troubled character, not to mention he kind of feels left behind. His childhood best friend, Kelly, has been the only girl he has ever been in love with. However, Theo's senior year of high school begins to turn around as he and Kelly begin to get close again, leading into a relationship of true love. Everything about this book just keeps going forward, and it builds as it goes. Read some of my thoughts HERE
