    1. There are several variants of this idea available for sale in reproduction form through various websites and on eBay. I think they all work pretty much the same way.If you're looking for a way to sew a 1920's house- or day-dress, quickly, without a pattern, you can definitely use this. If you insist on translating it into modern usage, it could probably be used to make a nightgown or beach cover-up.
