    1. I don’t know what to say about this book. I hate how Iona was chosen to be sold into slavery of a type. I like how she fights back and how she ends up winning in the end. I like how she is treated kindly and how she finally finds peace with Xane. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

    2. Actually rather offensiveI gave this book one star because you cannot give any less. The story is rather simplistic and the MH is a moron, never an attractive feature. Women falling for men who abuse them is also annoying. The spanking was not arousing or entertaining.

    3. I have no idea what made me pick up this book in the first place but I have to say that enjoyed it I read it in one sitting i couldn't put it down but it dose have some similarity with the hungergames witht he whole sending the young to sacrifice and she is chosen all because of her rebuck of a marrige proposal a nd the man who is choosing the names pulls her name out a little to convienltly so that is where the story starts. and she meets the man that she finds herself falling in love with but [...]

    4. Interesting. Kind of reminded me of The Hunger Games with the beginning though. I liked it to a point and enjoyed the ending.

    5. I liked the beginning of the book it reminded me of hunger games. I really liked the ending, the middle was kind of repetitive.

    6. 3.5 stars. Nicely done world building. Iona is a compelling character who has a lot of elements to like - although there is the typical behavior that results in discipline. Not harsh (could have been harsher but that's my kink - more non con and harsh). It kept my interest all the way through - and I'd read more in this world. Understand that she loves what he does and it arouses her - so this is not really an "against your will" at the end of the day.

    7. I enjoyed this book and the sci-fi element. The plot is believable and written with enough description to imagine the strange world and cultures. I enjoyed the romance and steam between Iona and Xane and was happily cheering them on throughout. Nicely done! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
