    1. Much like modern business writers have done with the work of Sun Tsu, Kaltman attempts to take the wisdom of Lee and apply it to personal and business relationships. The historical elements are solid and the research sound, but many of his management suggestions are trite and obvious. Still, it is an interesting concept.

    2. You can say this is more of an up to date version of Sun Tzu The Art of War. I find that some of the lessons are very obvious, but couple of the lessons really stood out to me. Some of the lessons can be apply to an everyday business or personal relationship. Overall, I got to know more about Robert E. Lee than the actual lessons.

    3. The author chronilogically goes through the life of Robert E. Lee and adds anecdotal leadership lessons to each of the story stories that we could apply in our corporate lives and relationships. A great book that gleans a look into the integrity of the man behind the genius.
