    1. For some reason I love reunion stories, even though I kinda don't like attending them. That whole, unrequited love from younger years hits me right in the feels. This author did a wonderful job of character building and building up amazing chemistry between Lilah and Diego. The love and adoration he had for her, even as kids, was so sweet. An all around lovely story of Redemption.

    2. This was my first book by this author and I read this book with Kindle Unlimited. This is Lilah and Diego's story. Lialah is black and Diego is Spanish. This was a sweet romance a little bit of angst and misunderstanding but nothing frustrating. A big surprise towards the end of the story which I did not see coming.I enjoyed the story.

    3. Hmm I guess I should start by saying, I liked the book It is a very um simple read. I say simple because the characters were very basic. Not that I didn't like the characters it's just that their issues were very basic. The book could have been called " Lack of communication" because that is just about how I would sum it up. Lilah was very quick to jump to conclusions, and I am all for characters hauling ass out of situations when needed but seriously not one time when she ran did I thinkHey she [...]

    4. This book is another great example of Adrienne's writing. Her books keep getting better and better. As per her trademark, Adrienne's central female character is a strong independent woman who endeavors to make the world a better place through service. I always come away from her books knowing a little bit more about community service and wanting to get involved. As for the romance part of the book, the main characters Lilah and Diego see each other again at their 10 year high school reunion. Alt [...]

    5. A winner!!!Even though I gave this book 5 stars, there were a few discrepancies. Hero was 32 at time of the reunion he was still 32 There were some plots that I felt could have be expunged on more. Like what happened to the best friend that wanted the favor of ticket fixing?? With that being said I really enjoyed this book. Keep up the good work

    6. This is a story of a man who had fallen in love with an introvert in HS. It took her coming back to their hometown before Diego was able to share what he felt for Delilah. Delilah had a beautiful cousin who pushed her into coming for their class reunion. The pre-reunion party opened up an affair that revealed past hurts and opened up new feelings.A lot of pain is revealed but the pain brought new revelations to many. Three years pass before truths can be revealed and wrongs righted. Joys and sor [...]

    7. Good readLike this book. Diego was a good guy. He learned from his mistakes and became a better man. Lilah was a little annoying. She was judgmental, jumps to conclusions and held on a grudge for too long. I didn't like Cheryl, I felt like she wasn't the best cousin and was too self centered. Also i want to know what happend to the girl that killed Adrian. Lilah felt like she was alone but mentioned she had a best friend Maribal, why didnt she reconnect with her instead of just Mrs. Hosta. it wa [...]

    8. Not badI really wasn't fond of the political parts. Ok to an extent. I really couldn't feel the love between them. Needed more. Not a bad read, I would read more by this author.

    9. This was a nice little love story between two people who were opposites in high school. Enjoyable read from beginning to end.
