    1. I picked up this book because it was free. I figured, why not? I'm quite glad that I decided to download the ebook.Diary of a Single Wedding Planner is a fairly predictable book. It follows somewhat of a standard formula for a romance book. But, it was fun, and pretty darn clean, and fun, and spoke truth instead of fairy tale nonsense, and it was fun. It really was a fun book laced with humor that was easily and quickly read. Yes, it has some clichés . And yes, it all works out. In this case, a [...]

    2. I didn't really like the diary format. I don't feel like I really had time to connect with the characters or the story because all of the scenes were so short to get on to the next day in the diary. Some of the stories were funny, but overall there wasn't enough detail to really get invested in anything. I didn't like Cabe as the romantic interest at all. I think that Lillian and Laura had very good points when they were both talking with Tyler about her situations concerning both Dwayne and Cab [...]

    3. Really great book! Very detailed, but not in an overbearing way. Very enjoyable to read, and the characters are very likable and make you get involved in the story. Am I saying very too much? Who cares; this book was great and I can't wait for the next one! If you're looking for a sign to read it, this is it!

    4. This book kept me interested and entertained. I absolutely loved reading this and was so sad that it was over. I can't wait for the second one!!!!

    5. Tyler is a wedding planner, which works better for her than her own life. An adorable story that made my day. Everyone needs to read it.

    6. Just started this last nightwhat a great little read. Not gonna lie, I prefer my female leads to have a little more backbone, but it was so well written that I could completely understand why. Loved her conflict between the fantasy and reality of relationships/marriage and also the little surprise bits of humour throughout the whole story. Well done, looking forward to more!

    7. A great summer read. Hilarious stories that left me wanting more. I enjoyed the relationship between Tyler and Cabe so much that I am looking forward to the second volume already!

    8. This was a fun read. Tyler is a bit of a mess sometimes and doesn’t always make the best choices. There were some hilarious first dates and wedding planner adventures. I’m interested in reading the next book.

    9. Tyler is working as a wedding planner while struggling through her own love life and other relationship issues. I really enjoyed this, much more than I expected to. The stories of the weddings she works are sometimes funny, sometimes touching but all really enjoyable. I was also really entertained by the stories of first dates that she went on, and her relationship with her best friend is really cute. This book is light, easy to read, funny, and everything you could hope for. The only aspects I [...]

    10. I wont take back the fact that it is a typical, if mostly predictable, romance that's still funny enough to overlook the cliches in it but I will say this: It's such a breath of fresh air to read about people giving real advice that can't be surmised by the words "follow your heart" and "his the one" but rather it's hard work and it's not pretty! I think every woman who ever doubts love and what its all about needs to read this book in fact every woman simply needs to read this book. The advise [...]

    11. Loved this book! It was my first read of the summer and it was a perfect way to kick it off. This book hit me on a personal level because I could so see myself in Tyler. I also know someone in my work environment that is Charlotte! Well-written, easy-to-read, and it kept my attention. I looked forward to reading it and seeing what was going to happen to Tyler next. My favorite "aha" moment in the book was realizing how much men and women are conditioned to believe in the fairy tale. We are chose [...]

    12. Ok.It was ok. Nothing special. Decent work. Be warned, the heroine is a pound shop Bridget Jones, the two men she had to choose from were unexciting, I could not care less what happens next. But it was well edited, no glaring mistakes, just blah.

    13. Great book. I liked the diary style of writing and the fact that the main character was not perfect and she had real life issues to work through. It was great to see how she took the steps to figure things out and it made me think about my own situations and issues.

    14. My excuse for reading this: it was a free download on and I couldn't sleep. You'll get everything you expect from a story in which the main characters are called Tyler and Cabe. If you're into that, go for it. (Or better: don't. Romance is fine. Chick lit is fine. But this was just bad.)

    15. I really enjoyed this book! It was a fun and easy to read novel. I'm sorry I'm done reading it because I like the characters and I still want to know what is happening with them.

    16. What a wonderful reading! Funny, emotional, sometimes laughing, sometimes sad but always interesting. Can't wait for the next one

    17. Loved itGreat story. Would love to find out what happens next with the weddings and hopefully their wedding. Would love to find out what happens to Dwayne

    18. A fun read. The characters are instantly like able and the first installment leaves room for them to grow. looking forward to book 2!

    19. Violet Howe has brought spunk, sarcasm and a sharp wit to the romance genre.“I have always believed every bride should wear a gown reflective of her personality and tastes. I am also a proponent of women of any size being fashionable and stylish. But there is always an exception to every rule. Lines need to be drawn sometimes. It is possible that three hundred pounds of satin and organza in colors vivid enough to produce light may be the place to draw one.”While Tyler Warren, the heroine of [...]

    20. Just finished reading my first book by Violet Howe, and have purchased the second in the series. I liked the story even though others may have said Tyler was wishy washy and easily swayed by her ex. I disagree. I know the story is written as a journal and with that her thoughts. She may easily have started talking to her ex and found it hard to decline talking to him or meeting him but what person who has experienced that rejection does not play in their mind the way they would like to reconnect [...]

    21. Tyler has run away from her problems for so very long, that I think she seems to forget what her past haduntil he came back from the unknown. Can you get warm and fuzzy feelings back after being dropped like a hotcake? Tyler isn't sure she should try! This was my first ready by the amazing Ms Violet! I loved it! She made me laugh hysterically! I also seemed to find myself looking at my past to see what I can do from this day forward! This novel was very well written and had the perfect amount of [...]

    22. This book was like a restful vacation. I loved it. Who doesn't love a good love story? Love is love whether the people have fangs or the ability to tan. Taylor has had a pretty rough time in the dating world. (Wait until you read about the date with the hotel guy!) The author created a non-shallow character who is able to look at her past from many angles and evaluate the options before just jumping in. I liked this. I get tired of the flaky female leads who don't have much depth. Now my only pr [...]

    23. I enjoyed the book, but in the end it was wrapped up a little too neatly for me. Tyler's ability to accept her former best friend back into her life after his divorce troubled me on many levels. From there, Tyler's relationship with him raises so many red flags for me (psychology/counseling grad student though, so take that into consideration) I had to quash the desire to mentally drag her into counseling. LOL. However, Tyler's experiences in the wedding planning business were extremely amusing, [...]

    24. What stories a wedding planner can tell! Our heroine is truly one who gets involved with her main idea of making a perfect wedding for the bridal couple. She, however,is an insecure person. Her first love ran off to marry someone else and it still hurts her to think of him. Would she finally realize that a true friend could become even more in her life? An enjoyable read especially about the brides she had to deal with!

    25. This was a quick fun read, with lots of insights into wedding planning, and the brides and grooms involved. The main character, Tyler, was frustrating at times since she seemed so often to work against her own best interests, but she was also likable and some of the scenes were just plain funny. Although I wouldn't call it great literature, I was interested enough to pick up the second in the series (for free).

    26. This book started out very funny and humorous but fell off towards the end. I did enjoy it and really liked the diary format. The story line was very good and could have used some more detail. This is the first book from this author I have read. I would like to at some point read the remaining books in the series.
