    1. I have read plenty of thrillers but never tried a "Romantic Thriller" before but if we all stuck with what we know we'd never find new things we might enjoy! And enjoy it I certainly did. I loved the characterisation - there are not many characters in the book and I found them all to be perfectly credible and, more importantly, I was able to easily emote with them. I especially related to Jenna and her body dysmorphic issues. I also liked the fact that none of the characters were perfect, that ma [...]

    2. I just could not bring myself to care about either Ryker or Jenna. She's being stalked by her ex and is on the run. Gets into a truck with a stranger. Moves into his home after a few days. They decide they are in love but she intends to keep running to save him. All this drug out in the first half and then Garrett shows up and the story then focuses on him catching her. If as much detail was given in building the relationship as was in Garrett finding and attacking her, the story would have been [...]

    3. I would like to thank the author and publisher for allowing me to read this book.I started this book as I needed to read something that was going to grab me as I'd already tried reading 2 books previously. Well what can I say about the characters. I LOVED Ryker Russo, the hot blooded man with the tattoos. And Jenna Armstrong is a fiesty BBW who doesn't understand what Ryker sees in her. Then you have the despised ex boyfriend who I DESTEST with a vengeance lol. I loved the way the 2 main charact [...]

    4. OK read, but it was too faste falling in love, the getting over all her issues. When someone has image issues for her entire life you don't just get over it in three days. And how can they actually love each other? they know nothing about each otherway too quick.

    5. Cut Too Deep by Marissa Farrar is a combination of suspense and romance book. Jenna Armstrong is trying to get away from drunk boyfriend, Garrett. They went out for the evening and Garrett is extremely drunk. Jenna wants to drive home, but Garrett refuses. Jenna tries to walk away when Garrett bodily shoves Jenna into the car. Unfortunately, they get into accident. One year later Jenna is continuously traveling. She never stays in one place very long and avoids using credit cards. Car breaks dow [...]

    6. I only came across Marissa's books this year when I joined a book club on Facebook. Since reading one of her books I've become a huge fan. The great thing about Marissa is her versatility. She has written a few different types of genre and I've enjoyed all of them. This is another different type of genre to Marissa's usual books. This is a romantic thriller which is great for those that enjoy a bit of romance but has you on the edge of your seat at the same time. The main thing I loved about thi [...]

    7. This book was ok , ther was a little too much of I want you but I can't have you , and quite unrealistic love story .

    8. First of all I'd like to say thanks to Tracy from TBConFB for sending me a copy of this book for review. This is the first book I've read by Marissa Farrar and I don't think I've ever read a Romantic Thriller before.Jenna has had a tough year after a terrible car accident which has left her scarred and scared and un-able to stay in the same place for any amount of time until her car breaks down and there's nothing else for it but to stay in the small town of Arlington until it is fixed.I liked th [...]

    9. I received a review copy from TBC in exchange for an honest review.I totally connected with the female character in this book almost immediately. She has self esteem issues, body image issues, and cannot believe anyone would ever look at her in a romantic way. Snap!!Jenna has had a tough few years since a terrible car accident had her running from her past. She constantly changes numbers, stays in motels, doesn't use her credit card, scared she will be tracked down if she makes just one simple m [...]

    10. Cut too deep by Marissa FarrarOn the run from a very abusive ex boyfriend, Jenna, never stays in one place for too long; terrified that he will catch up to her. Until her car breaks down and she is forced to stay at a small out of the way town for longer than she is comfortable with. The thing that makes it easier is the owner of the garage fixing her car is called Ryker who is very hot and sexy. But Ryker seems to really like Jenna and she pushes him away as much as she can, knowing that she wo [...]

    11. A wonderful romantic thriller with some unconventional characters. Jenna is running from an abusive ex. She's overweight and bears the scars of her past relationship, so of course she has some body issues. Ryker is perfectly chiseled and covered in tattoos and piercings! Really piercing, guys never have those in romances and the author uses some very erotic imagery to prove that they should. Then of course there's Mikey, the angst-ridden teen-aged younger brother of Ryker who doesn't seem to min [...]

    13. Edge of your seat read It took me all day to decide to buy this book and I am so glad I did. Jenna isn't your typical young women she has been abused emotionally and physically by her ex boyfriend. Jenna is a beautiful girl but has a little extra weight and she sees herself has an overweight unlovable women. Her ex has done a number on her self esteem and she has come to believe everything he has told her. She is running from her horrible past and then she meets Ryker. Oh Ryker I so wish I could [...]

    15. I was gifted this book for an honest review. Loved it! Meet Jenna Armstrong, a lonely and scared girl, germ phobic, and running for her life from Garrett, the ex boyfriend, who she believes will kill her when he gets out of jail. When her car breaks down near Arlington, she is rescued by the handsome, tattoed guy named Ryker. He owns the and operates the garage in Arlington, so he offers her a ride while he tows her car to be fixed. She accepts and from there a whirlwind of a story begins. As Ry [...]

    16. I was asked to read and review 'Cut Too Deep' by Marissa Farrar. I loved the book from start to finish. In fact I was sorry that it ended as I wanted to read more. It only took me two days to read which is quick for me I totally identified with the lead character who has body & confidence issues as I suffer with the same problems. She can't understand why people show any interest in her and she is suspicious of their motives. She also thinks that she is going to be the butt of other people's [...]

    17. Out on March 26th. This is a sweet and engaging romance. Jenna is easy to connect with and its good to see a girl with curves and scars being the heroine. As for Ryker - well quite frankly I'm not too keen on tattoos and piercings but I'd make an exception for him!I don't usually go for romantic thrillers, but I liked the whole story. And Garrett was horrible - awful creep. Just like a villain should be.Based on her Serenity series I don't think Marissa Farrar is a typical author and I was holdi [...]

    18. Sexy & SuspensefulThis was a first time reading this author, but I could barely put the book down until it was finished (1 1/2 days-LOL). Jenna, the heroine, started the story with a loser boyfriend who always put her down and she had a poor body image to begin with. Tragedy strikes and she is on the run & fearful, always looking behind her for her crazy ex. Ryker, a sexy, tattooed mechanic, finds her after her car breaks down and offers to help. He finds her shape and personality very t [...]

    19. I've had this book for a little while on my TBR list and finally got around to reading it. I was a bit hesitant as romance is not one of my favorite genres and I tend to get a bit bored--thrillers are my thing. But was I ever pleasantly surprised by this book! Yes, there was lots of romance but not so much that it was sappy or overdone. I was completely taken with the mystery/thriller part of the story and the romance/erotic part just fit right in perfectly. I have to say I enjoyed every aspect [...]

    20. I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.I love romance and thrillers so I was really attracted by this book who combine them both. This was my first book of the author Marissa Farrar.I really enjoyed the story, it's nicely written and all the characters are very well described. Jenna, the main character, is going through so much emotionally and it is easy to understand her pain and fear.In the book there are some "romantic scenes" but they are illustrated in a sexy way, no [...]

    21. This is a first for me from this author and I can say I was not disappointed. This book had it all its full of twist and turns paranoia and love. Jenna is on the run and has been for a year. Her abusive ex is in prison and to be released shortly. Moving town to town only stopping for a couple of days has been her life until her car breaks down and she is forced to stay in town for longer. Ryker is a hot tattooed mechanic and when he spots Jenna walking down the road from her car her stops. There [...]

    22. So awesome!!! I love the spine tingling feels this book gives you. The what's he doing, is it all in her mind, is he going to get her kind of stuff. There's also the big protector he man with the sexy tattoos and piercings that just makes the story heat up. I love it all. (Not completely happy with the insults added into the book but its stuff that's said in real life to people and that still makes me mad.)It's like the calm before the storm with the ominous black clouds rolling in and the stron [...]

    23. I was given this book by TBC for a fair and honest review. This is the first book I've read by Marissa Farrar but it won't be the last.I quickly got immersed in the story. I liked Jenna immediately but I think she was too hard on the imagine she had of herself. While you're reading the book the tension builds up gradually. You feel as if you're looking over Jenna's shoulder, checking that Garrett's not there.A few times my heart was beating 19 to the dozen, holding my breath and wondering what was [...]

    24. I received an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review through The Book Club. I have never read any Marissa Farrar stories before but I will certainly look for her from now on. I really liked Cut Too Deep a romantic thriller that has everything. Steamy love scenes, an alpha male who is not afraid to show his vulnerable side and a lead female character who starts off appearing weak but has an immense internal strength that comes to the fore at the conclusion. It was well written a [...]

    25. I received an advanced copy of this book from TBC in return for an honest review When I read the first page I didn't think I was going to enjoy it not my normal type of book but was I got into the first chapter I was hooked. Loved the characters and wanted them to succeed. The suspense kept me reading wanting to know what would happen next. I don't want to say too much in case I give the story away. It has opened me up to a new genre that I wouldn't normally choose but would do in the future. And [...]

    26. I received this from THE Book Club on Facebook in return for an honest review. I enjoyed this book as it was a genre I had not read before, Romantic Thriller. The characters were believable particularly the heroine, a curvy woman with low self esteem! The pace was fast and kept me reading and ended up, in my opinion, a thriller with a happy ending. I liked the author's style of writing and would definitely read more of her work.If anyone is looking for a good, enjoyable read and likes thrillers [...]

    27. This is the first book I have read by Marissa Farrar, after being sent an advance copy to read by The Book Club on Facebook. It was out of my usual comfort zone being a romantic thriller, as I am more of a fluffy chick lit kind of girl! However, it was just brilliant. A fab storyline, characters you could really empathise with, along with a gripping dark side which grew with intensity as the book progressed. It was a real page-turner that I could not put down, and I will definitely be reading mor [...]

    28. This is the story of a woman trying to escape a past of bullying, physical and emotional abuse with the unexpected help and support of a sexy tattooed mechanic. It is a well written and emotional read and a good book but I rate this as 3.5/5 stars partly because I found Jenna a bit unconvincing as a person and partly because there were elements within the story which I felt were a bit rushed and not quite real. Having said that it is definitely worth reading.

    29. Pretty cool storyReading this story I wasn't sure how I felt most of the time. I really felt bad for Jenna with everything she had gone through. Than I was angry with the way the other characters talked about her body. And most of it I felt like Ryker wasn't taking her seriously when she was scared about the things happening around her. In the end it all came together and I got my "oh ok"moment. All in all it was a great book

    30. It's nice to read something a little different and this is a love story with a strong suspense back story. The heroine, Jenna is a larger lady and larger ladies get their men, too. Marissa Farrar is a very good story teller and as the book hotted up with with suspense, I was riveted to my seat determined not to go anywhere or do anything until I found out what happened next. It's a great read and a well earned full five stars from me!
