    1. While browsing at 2nd and Charles and looking through their comic collection, I saw the title. I saw the picture. I thought - Well? Why not? I bought it and took it home and read it.And I liked it. Well enough to want to read the next installment. I didn't love it but I felt it had promise.I haven't read a lot of Marvel comics and I don't know a lot about the Marvel universe. I was more of a DC kind of girl in the 1990's and early 21st century. I had no idea who Agent Carter was. I got the impre [...]

    2. 28/30 books read in 2015.Ieeep I like this Peggy Carter a LOT! The last comic I read featuring Peggy (Captain America - Peggy Carter, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.) was an enormous let down, but this one certainly hit the mark! I know there are different universes even within the comic world & I'm sure this Peggy belongs to a different one than the CA version I read. This one reminds me of the Agent Carter: S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th Anniversary comic I read earlier in December and the TV show Marvel's Agent [...]

    3. Wanted to like this more than I did.I generally enjoy taking comic book characters back in history. This story isn't sure if it's supposed to be about the movie versions of these characters or the marvel universe versions, so the writer tries to do both and it just doesn't work.Nobody feels right, and new characters are introduced that could have easily been MU characters, which would have helped the story a little bit.So, we end up with a good idea that becomes an unentertaining jumble.

    4. Peggy Carter, how I love thee. How I love thee years after WWII, with excellent Cold War vibes and a great bantering camaraderie with Howard Stark. How I love thee.
