    1. firstreads won on giveaway.The book was interesting to read but it never really spoke to me on deeper layers. Maybe because there is too much description and not enough metaphors for my taste. Some of the poems like "found poem" or "reflection" or "Love Thief" or a few others sets an atmosphere. But mostly they are just descriptions of situations or memories, and not very poetically I must say ("Direction", "Stepping stones", "Scissors" and other).Also, there is zero place for my imagination.     2. I received this book for free via First Reads.It is a short book of poetry containing 50 short poems. The tone is mostly imaginative and almost dream like but it also lets the reader learn a little about synaesthesia. The words are strong, well chosen and vivid. There is humour, self examination and a sense of wonder in the words too. As with all poetry there is a hit and miss element.
