    1. 4.5 stars. Even more charming and adorable than the first volume. The Holidays are approaching and Phoebe is especially excited but anxious about what to get Marigold. Their adventures continue! There still is no plot per se, it’s still a slice-of-life graphic novel, but we learn more about the characters in this one.We learn… Marigold has a crush named Lord Splendid Humility. Even if we don’t “see” him, seeing that he is too humble to show himself, he has become one of my favourite ch [...]

    2. It's been a year since Phoebe and Marigold became friends. "Marigold, you remember how we met, right?""Of course. You hit me with a rock, I granted you a wish, and your wish was that I become your best friend.""And we've been hanging out ever since.""Unicorns do not 'hang out'.""From what I've seen that's all unicorns do."Charming and magical! I love the secondary characters: Dakota, Max, and of course the parents - they are all awesome! "Hey, Max?""Hey, Phoebe.""I'm unsupervised and I wanna do [...]

    3. 69-73. The spelling bee. "Pyrrhic". Ironic. So. Much. Funny. In just four short pages. And the whole book is like that--full of jokes that will fly right over the heads of most of its targeted readership, but will make adults gigglesnort. Also, unicorns appear to be a bit like Pirates in that everything they do--magic, snark, manipulation, what-have-you--is explained simply as "Unicorn.""Unicorns are more powerful than tater tots!"I want volume three nownownow. Please?

    4. Full review/Цялото ревю - click, clickI received a review copy from Netgally in exchange of an honest review.After-read thoughts:I am so in love with this.I spent the last week going around and telling literally everyone I met I'm reading a book about unicorns that read through osmosis and they were all " This is so freaking cool! I've always wanted to be a unicorn!". Yup, reading via osmosis is every student's dream. But I am speeding up too much. To put everything in order: few things [...]

    5. Thank you netgalley for giving me a copy in exchange of a honest review! This was so. Much. Fun. Honestly I did not expect this book to be that amazing. The story was well-written, the characters wonderful and the writing was on point. This was by far one of the funniest book I've read this year! We need more middle-grade books like that!

    6. I wish I had a friend like Marigold Heavenly Nostrils growing up! This series is adorable and heartwarming and funny and just pure delight!

    7. Absolutely loved this! I've been flipping back through it and chuckling at whichever random page I land on. Funny and insightful, I enjoyed this as much as the first.

    8. Another delightful installment in this beautiful, hilarious, clever graphic novel series about a human child and her unicorn friend. A+ would read again.

    9. This book was hilarious and very Simple to read because it had very little writing and lots of pictures to paint an image

    10. Phoebe-tyttönen ja hänen paras [mielikuvitus]ystävänsä, yksisarvinen Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, käyvät koulua, viettävät vapaa-aikaa ja seikkailevat jälleen sarjakuva-albumissa. Phoebe yrittää päästä mukaan koulun näytelmään, kisaa tavauskilpailussa ja koittaa kuumeisesti keksiä jotain kiellettyä tekemistä siksi aikaa, kun vanhemmat ovat liimautuneina telkun ääreen katsomaan vanhan suosikkisarjansa kokonaisen kauden uusintaa. Mari puolestaan paljastaa ihastuksensa kohteen [...]

    11. This book is called Unicorn on a Roll (Heavenly Nostrils, #2) by Dana Simpson. This book is about Phoebe and her best friend Marigold. I would say that Phoebe is antisocial and Marigold is selfish. Phoebe met Marigold in a pond she was skipping a rock in the pond when she hit Marigold with the rock she didn't mean to hit Marigold. Marigold told Phoebe granted her a wish. I like this book because it is a story about a unicorn and a girl and I love unicorns. I would recommend this book to my frien [...]

    12. As adorable as the other books in the Phoebe and her Unicorn series! Sparkly, with rough edges of realism.

    13. I loved this book! If I could remember the first time I read Calvin and Hobbes, I think it probably felt like this. Phoebe and Marigold Heavenly Nostrils remind me a lot of Calvin and Hobbes, actually, except that Phoebe isn't quite as devious and the focus of their adventures are more magic than adventure-based. I need to go back and read the first one now!

    14. Fast becoming my go-to series when I need cheering up on a bad day. This volume is just as lovely as the first: wonderful for kids, but with jokes aimed at adults that are incredibly sharp and funny and insightful.

    15. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read the first in the series because I didn't realize it was a series, but I don't think that took away too much from the second story. There were some parts of the story where I felt like it was randomly jumping around and I didn't quite know what was going on, but overall the story was really fun. It was very cute and quirky and I actually found myself chuckling out loud at quite a few points throughout the bookARACTERS: I love Marigold [...]

    16. Phoebe and Marigold’s adventures continue. Phoebe starts to make some human friends at school – even though her relationship with Dakota is still pretty rocky. She also gives Marigold the best present ever – releasing her from her wish. Marigold, however, is so fond of Phoebe by this time (and perhaps always was – she never indicates otherwise) that she wants to stay friends. Aww. The collection has a loose, larger story arc, and a nice mix of shorter events, as well as some standalone s [...]

    17. I love this series. I read both books twice within 3 days. "Phoebe and Her Unicorn" is like a female "Calvin & Hobbes", but I'd venture to say Phoebe and Marigold are even funnier than Calvin and Hobbes. Despite the sparkly, pink and purple covers, the comics actually have universal appeal and would be just as funny to boys as to girls. (My husband probably like the series even more than I do, and literally laughs out loud while reading them.) I wish the covers weren't quite so stereotypical [...]

    18. I received a review copy from Netgally in exchange of an honest review."True Friends finish each other's sneezes" "I never Heard that Before"I really enjoyed this comic. I haven't read the first comic in the series because I didn't know it was a series. This Comic was AMAZING! I loved the illustrations, Marigold's confidence, and everything about it. The story was funny and cute, I found myself laughing out loud at most parts of this book. Even though the story would sometimes jump and I got con [...]

    19. Simpson keeps up the pace with a second Phoebe and Her Unicorn adventure! Funny and clever throughout. I love how realistic Phoebe is portrayed, picking her nose, playing with My Little Pony dolls, being good at spelling. She's an "everyman" (tee hee) that any kid could relate to. It's unfortunate that McMeel has chosen to market these books with stereotypically girly colors, because I really think boys would like them just as much. And boys need to read more books with girls as main characters. [...]

    20. Just as cute as the first. Although the whole, "UNICORN!" response to being amazing is wearing a little thin to me. Having said that, I did snort with laughter quite a few times while reading this

    21. A story about a girl and her best friend the unicorn. Really funny. I actually laughed out loud reading this.
