    1. I don't really read this genre, but I had a fun time reading Clash of the Clans. The author's knowledge about martial arts makes the book an entertaining and informative read. Her love for the discipline can be seen in every word, and action scene. This is a stand alone, but if you loved it, read Shinobi 7. Many of the characters will endear themselves to you, and you'll want to read more about their escapades. For a few hours, you'll find yourself immersed in a totally different world as the cla [...]

    2. This was my first time reading L. Benitez, but i was not dissapointed. This is a fun, exciting read that is utterly thrilling. Even if it is not your genre, the author's knowledge of martial arts will make it well worth your time :)

    3. Lighthearted and funnyHighly recommendedThis companion story for Shinobi 7 is a quick jump over to an alternate timeline where war never erupts, but Sector 7 still forms and the characters are essentially the same. With the war out of the picture, the story focuses on another kind of conflict, a tournament of the clans. Having read Shinobi 7, I loved being back in the world and experiencing it in such a purely enjoyable fashion. As someone who practices Karate, I found both the tournament and th [...]

    4. This companion book to the Shinobi 7 series is tons of fun and a great read! It didn't even matter that I've yet to read books from the main series because this book is it's own little story. The characters are fun to read about. I love their personalities and the way they interact with one another. Hints of romance here, hints of anger there, hints of tragic events from a distant past many things to keep you guessing and wondering, character-wise! My favorite characters have to be Hanran and Lun [...]

    5. I bought this book this evening and I couldn't believe I just couldn't stop reading it! I loved it! I read the first book, Trials of a Warrior and I loved that one as well. And when I opened this book I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, but I found myself literally lost in the pages. This author has a great voice and such an imagination. I can only hope she hurries with future books because just like her Trials of a Warrior, I didn't want this one to end as well.Be sure to check it out and I am s [...]

    6. Fun Action-Packed AdventureIn Clash of Clans, the 'fresh meat' students of Sector 7 are chosen to represent the Kitsune Clan in the monthly tournament. Once there, each member is assigned to the various events. The author builds the suspense by telling the story from each character's point of view. Clash of Clans is unlike anything I've read before. It was a fun, exciting read. If you're a fan of martial arts, this is a must-read!

    7. Received a copy for honest reviewI found this companion to be so cute. It's perfect for the age range it's listed for. It and the earlier book Shinobi are written in a style of youth anime for youngsters, and the characters are engaging and real. Everyone undeniably acts their age, and the story encourages a life of endurance and trying harder. Any kid who loves martial arts will love this one. That is just a given.

    8. Great fun and an enjoyable read! I know nothing about martial arts, but this book made me want to know more. From the character development, to plot and hints of the parts of life that matter, at first I thought I might be engaging in a read that would seem to be in a middle of a series, but actually is was a self-contained story that I'm sure works very well with the rest. Great job by L. Benitez. Definitely recommend!!A great book for anyone, any age. You will enjoy.
