    1. I'm going to keep this short. I did not like this at all. I love fantasy, but this was fantasy done in a jokingly way, that wasn't actually funny. I felt no connection to the characters and in fact disliked them. I thought the novella that precedes this, My Fair Maiden was okay, except for the ending, but I thought that this book would start them on a grand adventure. Nope.     2. This is the very fine sequel to ‘My Fair Maiden’, bringing two of the main characters from the opening book front and center once again. Plus, I got to learn a new wordlodorous. This is quite apt, because there really is something quite foul smelling in Fairhaven. Plus, there is a murderer on the loose. Between the dark alleys, the overflowing taverns, and the *beast* afoot in Fairhaven, this isn't the friendliest place to be in at the moment. However, the action is quite engaging; I recomme [...]

    3. Funny book -- wish I had known it was second in a series before I started. Even so, it was good fun in the Esther freisner brand of fantasy.
