    1. I found the book to be easy to read and interesting. I have worked in the rescue field for many years and can relate to this book.

    2. I liked this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone with a pet or pet issues. It might be a good idea to read this book before getting a pet. It will give you some insight into the behaviours of pets and ypu might be able to avoid some of the mistakes pet owners typically make, I found out I was assuming some of the things my dog did as spiteful acts when he may have been trying to get my attention.

    3. I got this book as part of the first reads giveaways. As a pet parent, I thought it would be useful in looking at my interactions with my dog. The vignettes the author includes covers every type of problem a family with a dog or cat could expect to encounter, though it was more focused on canine interactions. I particularly thought the case studies of 2 separate litters of puppies were particularly interesting, seeing how early experiences shape the behavior of the dogs, just like with human chi [...]

    4. I have always known that our pets reflect our livesme as our children do. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book because it was intelligently presentedd easily understood. Loved the short chapter lengths as well. Had several "aha!" moment while reading this cause I recognized family members/friends' relationships with their pets.

    5. Anastasia V. Nikolskaya's book, Your Pet's Peeves What Your Pet's Issues Say About You, is a book written by a pet psychologist about people and their pets with behavior issues. The book shares many stories from many situations. The author and her clients are from Moscow and frankly, most of the stories are bizarre. The author writes on page 117, "Often, the problem in a human and animal dynamic lies in the owner's disorders, personality traits, or lack of experience. In my experience, this happ [...]

    6. I received this book as a Giveaway. I have to say that some of the writing was a bit odd and I think this is due to the translation it must have had. Also some of the situations are not the "norm" for American pet owners. I think it had some good info, yet the pet owners just dont have the same situations as our American ones do. No one would agree with beating a dog or some of the things these patients do with their pets. It was just a little off putting for me due to these issues. I am sure M [...]

    7. I won this as giveaway. Very interesting - some things I agree with and so not too much. The author is located in Russia and it's fun to see the different and not so different relationships people have with their pets. It is insightful but would not be my go to
