    1. When Tylandover, prince of Evolin, from 'Fireheart' says that he has a burning in his heart, which is tearing him apart, take him seriously. Tyland possesses fire magic which he desperately needs to learn how to control. When he is rescued from a fight, he ends up having sex with Sully, the man who rescued him, a law enforcement officer called a Rider, but he can't imagine the extent to which his life will change because of it.Even though Riders have a violent reputation, Sully is a decent man. 2. A Joyfully Jay review.3 starsI think this is another case of a great idea being hampered by the length of the book. I loved the setup for this book and even the conflict/climax was dramatic and entertaining, but there just felt like there was so much missing from this story that I could never fully invest in it. The characters were a little flat because there wasn’t really any time devoted to developing them before everything fell apart around them and consequently when everything did go to he [...]

    3. Reviewed on The Blogger Girls3.5 starsAs a Rider, Sully lives a life of freedom so when he’s ordered to become the tutor of a spoiled prince, his life becomes a lot more restricted and complicated. Especially when the prince he’s teaching is the very boy he had a quickie with in a neighboring village. Tylan may be a prince but he lives in a world where magic is forbidden and he has the gift of fire within him. As they get closer together, their feelings for each other grow but their love is [...]

    5. C+This is a fun fantasy read.  Full of magic, secrets, illicit love, and teenage rebellion. There were so many things that I really liked about this book.  It had so much potential to be a great book.  The issue that I had was that it was too short.  There were too many threads that were left open and the ending was abrupt and demands another book.Sully is a Rider, this world’s version of an elite soldier/cop.  He eats, sleeps, parties, and sneaks in his sexual liaisons all while living al [...]

    6. This is an okay read but I just couldn't get the 'feel' of Tylan and Sully's characters. The king, the bride even Gannon were just words on paper. I finished it though and has started Fallen, it's sequel. Might be better-i hope.
