    1. Once again, John Orr knocks the narration out of the park! This was, by far, my favorite of the series. Seeing snarky, sarcastic Haydn fall in love was worth every fail and flailing moment.Party boy Haydn's best friends have all gone the way of coupledom and he's determined he won't be lost on that ship. One night stands and hook-ups are more than fine with him because he's seen his share of "crazy in love" and wants NO part of it - thank you very much!“You are the crazy one. All of you. All yo [...]

    2. I read the first two Hope Covebooks and was really looking forward to Haydn's story. He was always unapologetically himself, a little OTT and sassy.I felt like he lost a little of that in this book, but maybe it's more seeing the 'real' Haydn. The one who's afraid to love and trust someone else with his heart, a more serious side then I saw in the previous books. His best friends have all coupled-up and we get to see a little of the Mack and Oliver and Lucas and Declan from the first two Hope Cove [...]

    3. This was another really good addition to the series and a solid 4 stars from me!So this was the their and final, I think, book in the Hope Cove series and it was really good. We got to see some past characters again and we got Haydn's story at last. I liked Haydn in the other two books so it was exciting to see him get his own story. He is definitely one of those characters I think you will either love or hate him because he annoys you. I got him, so he was really lovable to me and I saw why he [...]

    4. What happened to my gorgeous, outgoing, sharp, funny flamboyant Haydn in this sequel??? He was himself at the beginning of the story the first 3 pages perhaps, and then he was a dull, boring character. My gorgeous flamboyant was gone and become another plain simple character.Very light, free of angst story and the spark of Haydn was gone.

    5. "Tonight is not about bunnies and babies. Tonight is about getting me laid," Haydn said as he flicked the visor and used the miniature mirror to touch up his eyeliner. "It's been way too long since I've been good and fucked, and if you two are proper wingmen, we can find some beautiful man to take me home and I will be far less of a bitch in the future."This was a charming third and final? book to the Hope Cove series by Cate Ashwood.Haydn was in the series from book #1 Brokenhearted and he was [...]

    6. 3.5I'm not sure what I was expecting with Haydn's story but I've been waiting for it because he was a standout character for me in the series. There was sweetness here with just a bit of sass. A really gentle romance and I think I'd say my favourite of the three. It was pretty angst light and just a nice, sexy little read.

    7. I have really enjoyed Cate Ashwood's 'Hope Cove' series, and I knew that Haydn's story would be my favorite. I've adored Haydn from the moment he stepped onto the page, and I couldn't wait to see his world turned completely upside down. I suspected the author was going to give him a run for his money, and I was right."The woman you saw me with before, that is my sister, Sam. Not my wife. I am not married. I never have been. Because… and you may find this hard to believe… but I am gay. That w [...]

    8. Overall book review: 3.5Audio book: John Orr (Narrator)Book Cover: 3.5This was a nice little in-between. So I accidentally skipped book 1 and 2, but what the hell. I could follow easily enough. Not a five star book but enjoyable all together. The audio was good and I think John Orr did a great job.

    9. Broke down and read the 3rd book. And I am going to say this was my favorite out of all 3. The steamy sex, the relationship, all of it. Even the conflict didn't bother me. Again Jonathan Orr was amazing! Love his voice

    10. 1. The Cutting Edge was released in 1992. Ergo, it's not an "80s classic".2. "'but you think she would be better off living with her birth mother, a sixteen-year-old girl who didn't have the sense to use a fucking condom?'"It's not often that I want to slap an author, but when it happens, it's usually the fault of blatant, indifferent ignorance. Condoms are not fail-proof, and being young is not an indicator that a person will be a bad parent. Regardless of the circumstances. So this may have go [...]

    11. I've been anxiously awaiting Haydn's book because he's one of my favorite people in this series. That said, I didn't actually enjoy his story as much as I thought I would. I didn't understand his intense need to stay single or his anxiety about relationships. No, he didn't have the best examples growing up but nothing traumatic happened to him. It felt a little like trumped up angst to make the book feel deeper. I know it sounds like I didn't like it but I actually did enjoy the book quite a bit [...]

    12. 3.80 starsA nice, sweet story with a little of angst. I was looking forward to reading Haydn's story and I'm not disappointed. I liked Trevor and it was good reading more about Mack/Oliver and Declan/Lucas.Brokenhearted remains my favourite book in the series.

    13. Haydn found his prince. I felt like a lot of things could have been played up in this book, like the fact that Trevor was a hockey player, it was just skimmed over, also how he got his daughter, his sister's involvement. It would have been so interesting to explore the dynamics with Haydn and his grandparents. It was still a nice read, no angst, perfect for the freezing temps.

    14. Forgot to add this when I listened to it a while ago. I loved the audiobook and I'm so glad I got to listen to the whole series because it was even better the second time around.

    15. 4.5 Stars!First I would like to start off with saying that I totally love the fact that both author Cate Ashwood and publisher Dreamspinner Press went and published this trilogy one right after the other. For a fanatic series reader like me, that is heaven on earth to not have to wait months or years for a new part.I had the pleasure and luck to have been able to read and review all three parts and see the series come to life in the words of the author. This third part starts of with an explosion [...]

    16. Note: This audiobook was provided to me by the publisher through Hearts on Fire Reviewsin exchange for an impartial review. If there’s one word I would use to describe how this book made me feel, it’s joy. More than happy, more than fun, pure joy. Haydn Prescott, who’s been around from the first book in the series, Brokenhearted, is finally going out to get laid. He’s been working his cute little butt off helping Oliver get their bakery/café combo off the ground and watching his best fr [...]

Haydn Prescott, who’s been around from the first book in the series, Brokenhearted, is finally going out to get laid. 18. I had the opportunity to read book one, Brokenhearted and book two, Wholehearted. I was incredibly excited about Ironhearted and the whole series. If you read my reviews you know that Brokenhearted was big on angst and brought me to my knees. Then Wholehearted made you think, empathize and get just plain angry sometimes. So I went into this very curious as to what the author would do now.We meet Haydn in book one and he is instantly appealing. An out, proud and flamboyant gay man in a small town [...]

    19. This is the third book in a series that should be read in order to fully appreciate all the characters.Haydn Prescott has never thought of himself as the type to settle down. He witnessed first hand as his grandparents and parents slowly drove each other mad, and they are still together, miserable as ever. He remembers all too well how the breakup in the beginning of his best friend Oliver’s relationship with Mack almost killed both of them. Of course they’re happy now or as Haydn likes to t [...]

    20. Thid is the third and possibly final book in the Hope Cove series. In this book we get a better look into the life of flamboyant and proud Haydn Prescott. Haydn is a friend to everyone I the previous series and. co-owner of the bakery Maggie's with best friend Oliver. One night Haydn decides to go clubbing with wingmen Lucas & Oliver at his side. While dancing his ass off his eyes make contact with a handsome stranger at the bar. The two after a kissing session/ blow-job in the parking lot g [...]

    21. REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCEStory 4.5Narration 4.5For months Haydn has been watching his friends fall in love and settle down. He is positive THAT is not for him. Too much drama for a party boy who likes to go out and choose his one night stands from the selection on offer. When he has an amazing and incredibly hot one night stand he can’t get the guy out of his mind but when the very same guy comes into the bakery he nearly swallows his tongue. Standing there with a woman and a small child [...]

    22. Have you read Ironhearted yet? Because if not, you should. Right this second. No, seriously. Put down everything you're doing and pick up this title. The third and final(?)<--wishful thinking that there will be more! installment in the Hope Cove series, this title is also the strongest.I'll be honest, I decided early in the series I wouldn't like Haydn. His wild flamboyance just wasn't for me. Then I read about, oh, 10 pages of Ironhearted and he was my favorite. Like, I MAY have drawn fanart [...]

    24. I might've liked this book more if it made more sense. Haydn is a baker? He works at a small bakery with only two people working there and he is the main/only baker? But he sleeps in everyday? Bakers, normally, start their day REALLY REALLY early in the morning. Like 4-5.At one point, towards the end, Oliver lets him sleep in. And then the writer specifically says that he gets up and starts serving coffee and pastries. Where did these pastries come from? Who made them? And the switch from partyb [...]

    25. I wasn't keen on another character book in the Hope Cove series, I just didn't think it could get better, BUT, I loved it, Haydn is just adorable! Each of the three books have been really different and each of the characters can hold their own. I fell in love with Trevor & Haydn <3 [image error]"/>
