    3. Cute StoryThis book was a whirlwind after it finally took off. Who knew first bride's best friend would be a descendant of the villain? And who knew the first bride would solve the whole shebang! I love a good mystery.

    6. For a 156 page book I was expecting it to be done with in an hour or two. However, it took me 8 days to finish, not because I was busy but because it was so bad!Amy's grandmother gave her her bookstore for a graduation present. Amy, now a bookstore owner, was busy working when an older gentleman named Henry walks in her store. Henry tells Amy that he thought she was his "Annabelle" a woman he loved dearly but had lost years ago to another man. Amy was intrigued with his story but when Henry set [...]

    8. Everything happens too fast and is not justified by a description of the feelings of the character, in fact the feelings are not well explained or described at all! There is Plenty of descriptions of clothes and of the male interest's body but nothing about feeling overwhelmed by the attraction. His behavior doesn't seem justified either, they are both acting like children poking at each other under the table, for adult to have a playful behavior like that there needs to be at least a little int [...]

    9. What happens when you add a jealous friend and a gypsy curse? A Secret in the Attic, that's what! This book is part romance, part suspense and part paranormal. A perfect combination for readers. This is a delightful urban fantasy. Being a novella, it is an extremely quick read. The only bothersome part, for me, was the main character "Amy". She almost missed her chance at happiness out of fear of an old curse. The character of "Jake" was a bit too perfect for my liking. Overall, I found this to [...]

    10. SoI just finished this book was a very quick read, I finished in just over 2 hours. I enjoyed it! It was a sweet little romance. There were times that the main character Amy got on my nerves and although I felt the ending was a bit rushed, I was very satisfied with the outcome. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick little dose of romance. Thank you First Reads for the great free book!

    11. This book was pretty fun, though the end felt pretty rushed. I would've liked things to have gone a little slower - maybe another twist? it just felt like there was a word or page limit and it was just a "quick fix".In saying that though, the characters were fun and I was just looking forward to getting to know them. All in all though, I am glad I got this.

    12. Most wonderful love storyAwesome book. Sweet, tender, honorable love story. This story had me reading the book in one sitting and I was so sleepy, but could not put the book down. Plus had such a twist I had to fight myself from peaking at the ending. A MUST read for sure

    13. A good book about a woman who inherits her grandma's book store. An old man mistakes her for her grandma by then I was hooked on this one. A little history and a little magic makes this a great read.

    14. I really liked this Novella. I enjoyed the characters and got into the story. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cute light-hearted short story to read.
