    1. This book was a Kindle freebie. I picked it up in case I ever wanted to do a cross-cultural folk tale comparison unit. The stories are short and easy enough to read. Average is the key descriptor here. If you have some particular reason for wanting to read a Russian folk tale, it's good. Otherwise, meh.
