    1. The eighth book of this series focuses on yet another addition to Roarke's ever growing luna werewolf pack. The new member, or rather, potential member, is another human. Scott has a real problem: he is dying of cancer. The key question is whether he will accept being turned into a werewolf (since everyone seems to think that will cure him), or whether he refuses and dies. What is unusual about this book isn’t the idea that werewolves can fight off any human disease, but the risk associated wi [...]

    2. If only. If only werewolves and supernaturals existed, and the love of my life, like Scott is to Eric, could have been cured. I guess because of how close to home this book hit, I adored Scott and Eric the most out of all the couples I've seen so far."The sound of Scott’s heartbeat. It wasn’t there anymore. Eric listened, waiting and waiting, his body tense and shaking with what he knew was happening. There was no gasping for breath, and his heart wouldn’t start up again, and no matter how [...]

    3. Perhaps I'm being difficult - but OMG I really really wanted this story to not stop WHYYYYYYY - I nearly died when that chapter ended and I was thinking NO NO NO NO NO OMG his diedWell you will need to read it to find out loved this one

    4. 2.5/5I like this couple more when they were feature in the last book. Here, not so much. The last part kind ruined the book for me. :/

    5. This book is the first in the series that explores the concept of Betas. We have had only Alpha and Omega thus far. I'm starting to get into these books again. I like the new length of the stories as well. In the beginning they were a bit longer but now they are more to the point and don't have any unnecessary scenes or dialogue. I really don't remember much about Eric from previous books but he seems like a good guy.Scotts transformation into werewolf brought up a few interesting points that I [...]

    6. OMG this book made me tear up! Scott's fight with his illness definitely struck a personal chord along with Eric's turmoil with the werewolf gene reaction.Plus this gives us something new the introduction of Betas. I think we should see some more exploration with this. I think it will help round out the pack. Now what will be the far reaching consequences of these events effect the future????

    7. Idk i kinda was fed up with all the sex scenes in this book. The previous books also had a lot of these scenes, and gradually at this book i was at the top of my glass so to speak. Every time i was reaching a sex scene i would let go of the book. And after i would gather some strength and pull through and so i did finish the book. But this one was not so good in my opinion.

    8. Trying to not pay too close of attention to the "rules" of this world because they seem to randomly change to fit each story. If ignore them, I should be okay, right? Anyhow, better than the last one, at least I liked these characters.

    9. Eric and Scott are now my new favorite couple. I just wished we knew more about what's going on with Scott. Great read.
