    1. Spock vs. Q is a playful, droll production that’s definitely worth a Trekkie’s time. I particularly enjoyed Q fangirling for Spock when he first appears on stage, and Spock telling him to get in line. I would still love to see them in a true Trek setting, where the safety of the Enterprise or Vulcan depends on a battle of wits (Hey! Maybe Q can save Vulcan from its fate in Star Trek 2009!).I’m less satisfied by their stand-up act firmly set in present time on a stage in front of a bunch of [...]

    2. This was good and very funny. The thing that kept it from being 5 stars instead of 4 is that I just wasn't quite convinced by Spock- he just didn't quite seem in character (which is particularly odd since it was actually John de Lancie and Leonard Nemoy themselves performing). I think this may be one that would have been better to actually have seen in person, so as to get the full impact of facial expressions and all. Still, it was really fun to listen to and actually had me laughing out loud a [...]

    3. This is not what you would expect. This is essentially in-character standup comedy. Nimoy and Delancie play spock and Q, who act somewhat in character, in front of an audience who doesn't and acts as a laugh track. This isn't similar to other alien voices productions, which are fully dramatized.Unfortunately it's bad standup. It feels very much like they recorded a convention skit rather than made a standalone novel or adventure. There's in-jokes to the audience which breaks the characterization [...]

    4. A delightful dialog between two iconic Star Trek characters, "Spock vs. Q" is an overflowing banquet of comedy as well as a sharp commentary on the state of current human existence and our relationship with the environment. The overall feel here is goofy and a bit preachy, but the text does the not-taking-itself-too-seriously-while-being-smart thing quite well.

    5. 1st Listen: 23-March-2013Strictly speaking it was not a book, more like a radio play. It was funny. Spock was slightly out of character, far to much humor and joking around, but put into context with the event it was recorded at it can be overlooked. Leonard Nemoy and John de Lancie were hilarious.I enjoyed it quite a bit.

    6. Love, love, love this production! So much fun! Listened to it once before while at work; listened to it a second time a couple of years later with my wife. I recommend Spock Vs. Q to all Trekkies everywhere.

    7. An interesting 2-man show recorded live. Both De Lancie and the now departed Nimoy, present their characters perfectly. The writing and delivery are quick and quick-witted.I wish this, rather than being a one-act play, had been expanded upon.

    8. I could not believe how funny this was. I was not at all expecting it, a classmate actually asked me if I was OK.

    9. This recording features fabulous performances that make me smile all the way though the story, every single time.
