    1. A super easy, fun read. I love the descriptions of Paris and feel like I am there. The story kept my attention and I really like how Maggie has changed theoughout the series. The books get better as she writes them.

    2. Great story as usual.Have one picky problem. From my student days at the Sorbonne rarely heard of also Michel. StudentsOne problem for me. From my student days at the Sorbonne the quai Michel was always the Boul Mich. Things may have changed just as increased use of tutoyer.

    3. This is the 4th book in the Maggie Newberry series. Maggie and Laurent are in their first year of marriage and Maggie is not sure she is committed to living in the Provençale village of St. Buvard in the home (and vineyards) inherited by Laurent. Maggie's Uncle Stan has been estranged from her family for many years but reappears in Paris during Fashion Week and Maggie is visiting him in his apartment on the Isle de la Cité in sight of Notre Dame Cathedral. She again gets involved in solving a [...]

    4. No intensityI did read to the end. Nicole and Elise should have been taken to the hospital immediately, that was a stupid. Holding Elise away from her parents was another event that seemed to be not thought out well. Plots: these events and more seemed to be stuck in around the other idea of he. PlotGo to the hospital, t,hey not well, but the plot didn't care about the "niece" & Elise. I thought that his author would be maybe be me Next author that I could follow. Week plot week Maggie was a [...]

    5. Newberry ManiaI am actually on book 7 in this series now. Really enjoy seeing the character development as the series progresses. This particular book I found very entertaining. You learn a good bit more about Maggie's family since the victim is her slightly estranged uncle. There is also a very interesting love triangle Maggie almost finds herself in with this book making it much more exciting and complex. And the ending literally had me clutching my chair. Such a wild ride with doubts all over [...]

    6. I really enjoy this series of books. This is the fourth book featuring Maggie Newberry- transplanted Atlantan in Provence. The mystery is good but I especially enjoyed the rich setting and the maturation of Maggie. She had been a little " whiny" and this book saw her grow up a bit. An easy read. I'd recommend it.

    7. Another wonderful read by Susan Kiernan-Lewis! I love to read the Maggie series. Maggie seems to find trouble wherever she is. Danger lurks around every corner as she tries to solve this mystery but it may cost her husband this time. Can she solve the mystery and save her marriage? You have to read to find out the answer. Can hardly wait to read the next Maggie novel.

    8. Well writtenLoved the French translations. Good story, need to include Laurent more. Grace is good later ego. Great information on how not to treat loved one. Love Laurent's philosophy on how one should believe love should truly mean.

    9. I love this series. The mysteries are well thought out. The main characters are all believable and their story line through the series is enjoyable.
