    1. This was a short, brutal, but ultimately pretty uplifting read. A real testament to the power of simply facing reality to make your life better. Some realities, of course, are easier to face than others and this book will remind readers of that, too. Well worth a look if you are interested in mental health, true crime and the effects of those crimes on the survivors.
