    1. In this book the Dar and Kerry were very much on the back foot, everything seemed to be going wrong and they constantly had to react to one crisis after another. As usual, I very much enjoyed the way their relationship is interspersed with their work life, even though I prefer them to be more in control than they were in this book. The book suffers a little from being the ‘middle one’ in what is effectively a trilogy, which means the ending leaves several plots unresolved. Fortunately the au [...]
