    1. [image error](More pictures on my blog)Halo 4 is back with a bang and this is an excellent video game art book for it.It's a large 192-page hardcover published by Titan Books. Each page is filled with lavish concept art printed huge, sometimes across two pages. There's a good amount of environment paintings that look really great because they are printed so big — great for soaking in the ambiance. The environment paintings are easily the highlight of the book. I love the very physical look of [...]

    2. Me encanta. No tiene nada para leer, ciertamente, más que notitas técnicas, pero los artbooks siempre me han encantado. Divino.

    3. In honor of the recent release of the Halo 4 game, I thought it only appropriate to review this amazing book today. I have been a HUGE fan of the Halo series, ever since the first game came out years ago. The action, the weapons, the combat is an amazing series that is beyond captivating. But it’s not just the actual game itself that pleases; the Halo universe is one of the most vivid and interesting locales in which to place a storyline. Such can be seen in the detail placed into the graphics [...]

    4. Hello and welcome to my review of Awakening: The Art of Halo 4, published by Titan Books. First off let me say that I am not, nor have I ever been a big Halo fan boy. While I do purchase and enjoy the Halo series of games, you will not see me bleary eyed and grinding levels in multiplayer death match at 3am on a Wednesday night. For those who may have been previously unaware, the video games studio Bungie had been making the Halo series since its inception. Now the torch has been passed to 343 I [...]

    5. I've always enjoyed the Halo Universe, but have never been really fanatical about it. I'm not sure why that is, the fiction is very deep and well realized. In the future I do plan on getting into it quite a bit more.As for this book, it's high quality. Hardcover and with nice, heavy pages. It's full of concept art with commentary from the art directer. Many, many pieces I wish I could frame and put on my wall.It succeeds as an art book, it's full of pretty pictures.

    6. I enjoyed this book immensely!! I was going to the game but I don't have a x-box anymore so I can't play it. This book's title said it all. It was just art with small paragraphs here and there. I hope the Halo Encyclopedia will be updated to include Halo 4 along with some of the art from this book.

    7. Awesome if you're a Halo fan. Potentially still interesting if you're a video game (or sci-fi/fantasy) art fan. Not of interest otherwise.
