    1. When I was young I enjoyed the thrill of danger. Since I am older now, I prefer to have my excitement and adventure in the books I read. The stories in this collection do not disappoint with a bit of truth mixed with a good dose of fantasy. These ten great stories are written by the talented authors; Margo Lerwill, Douglas Kolacki, Jonathan Broughton, John Blackport, Kris Austen Radcliffe, Liv Rancourt, Rayne Hall, KJ Kiegan, and Douglas KolackiABALLO written by Margo Lerwill was one of my favor [...]

    2. I have read several of Rayne Hall's books in the past, so to come across her series of books where she compiled stories from other authors too fit a theme intrigued me. Cutlass: Ten Tales of Pirates was everything I had hoped it would be. Aside from the Pirate theme, there was no overlap in the stories and each one was well written with interesting characters, unique story lines/plots and one of the stories took place in Outer Space (Diamonds and Bones)! Cutlass also offers readers a unique look [...]

    3. What can I say about this book? I am just amazed how a group of authors like Rayne Hall, Liv Rancourt, and Jonathan Broughton can write such great stories. Rayne Hall knows which stories to put together that can give the reader something they can enjoy. I know that in each of the books that I have read, that contained more than one author, I have found a story that I really enjoyed and a story that was still good but not my favorite. I can honestly say that I am, and will, when the opportunity a [...]

    4. I've become a huge fan of Rayne Hall's short stories and the short story collections she edits. She pulls together some of the best multi-author short story anthologies in different genres and this ebook featuring Ten Tales of Pirates adds to her impeccable reputation as editor and presents to the reader some amazing short story reads. These pirate stories are all unique and entertaining. I wanted to mention that I was pleased to see female focused stories too! I first fell in love with pirates, [...]

    5. Rayne Hall - editor of the entertaining “Ten Tales” anthologies (vampire, ghosts, and more) - has released another winner in her popular series. “Cutlass: Ten Tales of Pirates” offers an engrossing journey into the swashbuckling worlds of ten talented authors. My favorites in the anthology feature kickass female pirates: Kris Radcliffe’s sci-fi romp “Diamonds and Bones”, Jonathan Broughton’s “The Pensioner Pirates of Marine Parade” (geriatric pirates = awesome), and Rayne Hal [...]

    6. Rayne Hall is very gifted at finding awesome stories from various authors. Not all are written the same so you may not enjoy each story as much as the rest. I love reading different stories and I enjoy variety in everything, so I've really enjoyed these compilations. This is a good way to discover new and promising authors. 7. This is a fun but not exceptional collection of short stories about pirates in a wide variety of settings. The writing quality ranges from amateurish to excellent. The one or two good ones are really good, and I think I only skipped over one of the ten tales.I admit that I had hoped for a bit more dash and thrills, but for $.99 through I can't complain. In fact, I would recommend it to anyone who likes pirate stories. There is probably something here for everyone.

    8. 10 Tales of Pirates is a great adventurous story book with a vast diversity. As soon as one story finishes you are thrown into another place altogether. May it be a cursed island, New Orleans or in vast space Cutlass: 10 tales of Pirates has you covered. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to jump in an adventurous book and get lost in knee high leather boots, unforeseen adventures and salty wind in their hair.
