    1. This was a text book for a class I took in college almost 20 years ago, but it's stayed on my shelves. Thick with history and mystery.

    2. A great but very academic book on the Crusades. I read this for university and did struggle with some parts, but it was still an interesting read. I didn’t agree with all of the author’s arguments in the conclusion, mainly about what was a crusade and what wasn’t, but everyone has different opinions on that.
