    1. This is my favorite book by Boyd. Super fun to read and over too soon. It's like a combination of On the Road and The Shield tv show combined. If only someone would make this into a flick or TV Session for everyone to enjoy!

    2. By no means a literary masterpiece, "Twilight Man" is undoubtedly a pleasurable read and a more "personal" look at the infamous artist that "everyone (or at least rabid leftist types) loves to hate." Essentially, "Twilight Man" fills some of the void regarding Rice's personal life in SF that is missing from Larry Wessel's "Iconoclast." Although not nearly as "apocalyptic" as advertised, "Twilight Man" certainly captures the stark zeitgeist of Rice's early adult years in degenerate SF.

    3. Very entertaining quick and easy read. A bunch of short stories with all sorts of interesting and disgusting characters. Murders, knife fights, hookers, bums, booze, robbery, aids blood, drugs, rats, fires, all sort of crazy shit going on.One of my favorites was when Boyd was talking about an ex American Nazi Party member who was telling him of a story when he killed a man. He was at a garage sale and seen a bunch off Nazi knives and what not, and was buying what he could when the guy selling th [...]

    4. If none of this is exaggerated, this would be my dream job. Boyd Rice is a pioneering industrial musician and the father of the modern noise underground, as well as author, actor, and counter culture iconoclast. This is his memoir of his days as an Alarm Agent in San Francisco. Maybe his critics and detractors are just jealous of him getting paid to have adventures that they couldn't dream of having. I know I'm envious. Minus falling down a hole into a rats nest. Like, a Shit ton of rats. No tha [...]
