    1. I'm always interested in stories about people who have to overcome difficulties in their lives so when I saw the blurb on this one about a man who had to overcome a physical disability, the loss of a Pro Football career, and his fiancee leaving him, I just could not resist.Matt has it all going for him until a car accident takes it all. He is forced to start over in a new life that he never imagined. The loss of part of his right leg and permanent limp in his left leg has destroyed his football [...]

    2. I thought this book was very enjoyable. Well written with good side characters and a nice plot. Matt and Violet are sweet characters with good interaction. Matt was the best character though and showed a lot of strength and growth. Violet was easy to relate to, flaws and all. I got caught up in this story, especially as the plot thickened - I could really feel what the main characters were feeling. Great story about truly falling in love and what really makes your dreams worth living. cleanroman [...]

    3. After Matt's accident, he starts working at the local grocery store. As he is getting a tour of the store he meets Violet in the bakery department. They stare at each other. Everyone in town knows about the accident, but Violet doesn't care. She sees him for who he is, not who he was. They start to see each other and they slowly fall in love. Along the way something from the past comes back to haunt Matt. Violet and Matt don't see it coming.I absolutely loved this story as I could relate to the [...]

    4. I am still thinking 1 1/2 stars.I knew it was going to be a tough read for me to finish as soon as I started. The characters were too busy describing themselves "He had gorgeous brown hair and bright blue eyes" or "Her buttocks looked nice against her trousers"-esque type of statements. I could never really fall in love with the characters when I could tell they were being used by the author. The writing is really old fashioned. I thought perhaps the book was intended to have been set in the '30 [...]

    5. I received an arc copy of A New Dream to review. I can tell you I was intrigued and excited to read this book. This is an inspiring read that reminds us about judging people and forgiveness. I could totally relate to Violet and I found myself wanting things to work out for her and Matt. This is a clean read with only reference to sex. I think Elaine did a great job with the tension and chemistry between characters and the plot was excellent. This story will pull at your heartstrings like it did [...]

    6. Okay, this one is my own, but I do like it! It's all about dreams and what happens when my hero loses his dream.
