    1. This story is set in Wyoming 1868. A young man sets out from New York State to go far west to the end of the railroad to the town of Brenton for health reasons. The town is full of bars and gambling houses set up near where the railroad is being built. On the train to Brenton he meets a woman also going to Brenton. I really enjoyed this book as it gave a great description of the "Wild West" The story centres around this naive young man coming to Brenton where he gets set up and conned and the re [...]
