    1. Rating: 4 CupsMs. Kallyn takes the paranormal world and adds a dangerous twist of dragons, fires, and a mysterious past to make this an intense read. Burned takes us from one momentous occasion to another as Calla and Scott explore both their passion for each other, as well as the magical world that is between them. This story line ran smoothly, leading from one scene to another without any jumpy spots. The added eroticism leaves you burning up and wanting to bask in the characters’ sensual de [...]

    2. Dragons? Firefighter? I'm in! At first, I thought I was just getting a hot dragon shifter fated mates story and it was that, but the worldbuilding, intrigued and hints of family just took it beyond the same ol' stuff to something a bit more. It just jumped into the action, but catches the reader up eventually. Lots of dragon action to enjoy and the heat is up with these characters. Look forward to seeing where things go with this series.

    3. 3.5-4 starsThis was a pretty good story. I liked both Calla and Scott and enjoyed their story. This is the first story I've read by this author and I liked it well enough that I'd consider trying more of her work in the future.Calla is an arson investigator from Phoenix, AZ that is also a dragon shifter. She grew up as one of eight children and her family tends to be very protective. She's sent to a smaller Arizonian town (Jasper) to investigate a series of arsons.Scott is the fire chief in Jasp [...]

    4. Excellent read! This is an exceptional read with a well-written storyline full of magic and romance. Danger, adventure and the sizzling connection between Calla and Scott is so exciting! I loved it!

    5. Burned: Dragos #1By Amber KellynCalla Dragos is a Dragon shifter; she is also an Arson investigator for Phoenix, Az. She is sent to Jasper, AZ on a case, where there have been four fires in less than two weeks. As the only daughter of eight children, she is very sheltered, this is her time to get out and prove her independence. She did not expect to find her Destiny.Scott O’Neil is the fire chief of Jasper, AZ, fighting fires is all he has wanted to do. He has two younger sisters so understand [...]

    6. Great story!!!I was not expecting the book to turn out the way it did, the various twists and turns were captivating and easily held my attention. I’m very glad I snatched this book up for a try and read it! In the blurb it mentions a dragon and a fireman falling in love, but it doesn’t tell anything else in the story (and I’m not going to spoil it here!) but I will say that if you’re hem-hawing over whether or not to get it, then I would suggest that you get it. It’s definitely not yo [...]

    7. Short but, oh, so hot! This short novel is packed full of juicy romance, but be aware there is some sexually descriptiveness suitable to older readers only.Fire and dragons seem to be made for each other and in this story you will find out just how true this is. A darkness, Other, is faced and dangers faces while destiny intervenes. A interestingly enjoyable short work of fiction that thoroughly entertains while at the same time enticing the reader to look to see if more works by this author exis [...]

    8. I do love a good shifter story and ones about dragons are just very cool. Short read with lots of twists and turns to keep you hooked throughout. Dragons and Firefighters - a good mix to get some heat into a story!Good start to the series without overloading you with information about a back story. You just get stuck right into the action straight away. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series carries on from here.Even better is that the book is a free kindle read so you can test the [...]

    9. I liked it but it was too short and ended abruptly.Female arson investigator/dragonshifter heads to small Arizona town to investigate a string of fires and meets sexy fire chief who may be more than human himself.Sexy sparks ignite. The love scenes are smoking hot and the characters likeble but I didn't get to know them enough. I would have liked more conversation between them and more of a declaration at the end.But still, liked it.

    10. A dragon falls in love with a fireman, now that's just funny on so many levels. In this story fire just doesn't burn, but it brings people together as well;Burnedis filled with love (and lust),rage, betrayal, sadness, magic, dragons, mystery and a bit more. I'd like to read it's sequel,Scorched .

    11. A decent storyWe are introduced to dragon shifters and elementals, an interesting mix. While the story is pretty good, as usual any more , our characters jump into bed after they have barely met. I like to see more storyline and less sex. character development and plot. Still, the series has potential and we can see more in the next book.

    12. Burned is the first book in a series about Dragon shifters. We have firefighters, dragons, the soul mates pull and some evil thrown in, what not to like! I enjoyed the story for what it was, a quick read. There could have been more character development, there could have been more explaining about the history, but it was an overall enjoyable story.

    13. Good short read but not enough depth. A bit too short. Good for those looking for a hot and steamy romance. However, it doesn't have enough depth. Why is Caala so enamored? Why has Scott's identity as a mythical creature been hidden? And what does Smokey have to do with it?

    14. I read this book when I brought a collection of books called Bring on the Heat. What a awesome novella, I loved it so much I brought the next book in the series to see what happens between Calla and Scott.Bring on Burned Beneath The Mistletoe.

    15. I love the story of Burned,of the Dragos, excellent, looking forward to reading more the the series. Keep up the great writing.

    16. I was a little disappointed. It started out well, but something seemed to be lacking throughout. It was hard to get into. A little flat. Maybe the 2nd book in the series is better.

    17. I read this book when it was part of a bundle. It was erotic, fun, and I just adored the dragon shifters!

    18. Really didn't care for the female protagonist. She was unnecessarily rude, and jumped to conclusions a lot. There was also ass-play in the sex, which I hate reading about. Bleh.

    19. Calla is on a mission to solve mystery of who is starting fires and people start dying. She meets Scott, a fireman, who is also on the case.

    20. I would give this novella 3.5 stars. This was a quick but fun read. It was a very interesting concept, where a local fire chief falls for a dragon shapeshifter. Its a very original idea.

    21. It was okay, it wasn't bad, but I'm not stumbling over myself to pick up the next book in the series either.

    22. Burned is not a bad story. We have dragons, fires, soul mates and a evil villain. I enjoyed the story overall but I would of liked if it was developed a little bit more.
