    1. I read this collection of shorts for the first time when I was in primary school, when I was about nine years old. I remember that it was a gift from one of my teachers. Most of the books I read when I was young are distant memories, but many of the stories in this collection really stuck with me; to this day, I still go back to this book and read my favourites.I absolutely love 'Harrison Bergeron'. I didn't completely understand it the first time I read it, but the fact that it really affected [...]

    2. I read so many good stories in these when I was in middle school! I wish that I could get more information on them on here and the big on line book stores. I didn't like them at the time, but I see how great some of them are now.I remember reading:Harrison Bergeron Kurt Vonnegut Jr. - readI Just Kept On Smiling Simon Burt - readThe White Circle John Bell Clayton - readThe Zodiacs Jay Neugeboren - remember the titleThe Cat and the Coffee Drinkers Max Steele - readA Christmas Carol Charles Dickens [...]

    3. This book was overall good, since it contained many short stories, I say overall good because more than half of the stories I liked. Some of the stories were odd, however, and most ended without finishing the story, which could get annoying. However, I would read this again. Most of the stories are enjoyable.

    4. I just love the Junior Great Books series. It's emphasis on interpretive thinking teaches higher level reading and thinking skills, and is especially good for grades 6-12. The stories in this anthology were good and thought-provoking, but students didn't respond to them as well as I had hoped.

    5. I mostly bought this Compilation because it contained Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. I read it in High School and wanted to own a copy for myself.
